We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.
Franklin D. Roosevelt
With over 20+ years in HR leadership and a passion for mentoring, Carmen Henry founded Future Leaders Empowerment Coaching to bridge the gap between education and real-world success.
Her journey began when she noticed a critical need: young adults entering the workforce with strong academic knowledge but lacking essential life skills, confidence, and self-awareness. After volunteering as a life skills coach for teens in Tampa Bay libraries, she saw firsthand how transformative guidance could be sparking her mission to create a structured, impactful coaching program.
Carmen’s unique blend of HR expertise, leadership training, and youth mentorship allows her to deliver coaching that’s both practical and deeply personal. She doesn’t just teach she inspires, challenges, and walks alongside each young leader on their journey to success.
Why We Do What We Do
Our Vision
A world where every young adult possesses the life skills, confidence, and determination to pursue their dreams fearlessly.
Our Mission
To provide coaching, workshops, and mentorship that empower young adults with self-love, resilience, and real-world skills. so they can thrive personally and professionally.
What makes us unique
Our dedication to the SSS Framework building a foundation of self-love, self-esteem, and self-development ensures lasting growth before tackling external challenges. We stand out by:
My Passion
After over 20 years in Human Resources, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people grow first in corporate environments, and now with young adults. My passion is simple but powerful: to help teens discover their worth and build the skills they need to thrive.
It all started when I volunteered as a life skills coach at Tampa Bay libraries. Working with teens ages 13-18, I saw something incredible. when given the right tools and encouragement, they transformed before my eyes. Their excitement, their breakthroughs, their growing confidence—it lit a fire in me.
That’s why I do what I do. Because every young person deserves to feel capable, valued, and prepared—not just for school or work, but for life. My approach is rooted in personalized support, because I know no two journeys are the same. Together, we build self-love, confidence, and real-world skills that last a lifetime.

My Goals
I focus on one of the most pivotal phases of life: adolescence. This is when foundations are built when self-esteem, motivation, and life skills shape the future. My goal is to ensure no teen has to navigate these years alone. Through coaching, workshops, and mentorship, I provide the tools and guidance they need to:
Believe in themselves
Handle real-world challenges
Stay motivated and focused

The Problems We Solve
Many teens struggle with
Low self-esteem & self-doubt
Lack of practical life skills
Unclear goals & motivation
Fear of failure & social anxiety
We turn these challenges into strengths.

Our Transformational Approach The SSS Framework
At Future Leaders Empowerment Coaching, we go beyond traditional skill-building by transforming mindsets first—our proven SSS Framework (Self-Love → Self-Esteem → Self-Development) helps teens break free from self-doubt by building inner strength before equipping them with real-world success tools.
Why It Matters
Many teens struggle with comparison, insecurity, and seeking validation from peers or social media. Without true self-acceptance, even the most talented individuals hold themselves back.
Our Approach
✔ Workshops on self-awareness – Helping teens identify their strengths, values, and unique gifts.
✔ Journaling & reflection exercises – Guided prompts to challenge negative self-talk.
✔ Positive affirmation practices – Rewiring thought patterns to cultivate self-compassion.
✔ Group discussions on identity – Exploring what it means to love oneself beyond appearances or achievements.
Science-Backed Insight
Studies show that self-love reduces anxiety and depression in teens (Journal of Youth and Adolescence, 2021). It’s not just "feel-good" advice.it’s a critical skill for mental resilience.
Why It Matters
Confidence isn’t just "believing in yourself" it’s built through real-world practice. Many teens freeze in interviews, struggle with public speaking, or avoid social challenges because they lack practical confidence-building experiences.
Our Approach
✔ Mock interviews & resume workshops – Preparing teens for real career opportunities.
✔ Public speaking drills – Safe, supportive environments to practice communication.
✔ Role-playing social scenarios – Handling conflicts, networking, and assertive communication.
✔ Progress tracking – Celebrating small wins to reinforce confidence.
Research Note
A Harvard study found that 70% of teens avoid challenges due to fear of failure. Our exercises rewire this fear into courage.
Why It Matters
Schools teach algebra and history—but rarely how to budget, set goals, or lead a team. These gaps leave teens unprepared for adulthood.
Our Practical Workshop
✔ Financial literacy – Budgeting, saving, and understanding credit.
✔ Goal-setting frameworks - Breaking big dreams into actionable steps.
✔ Leadership & teamwork – Collaborative projects to build initiative.
✔ Accountability systems – Weekly check-ins to stay on track.
Fact
85% of career success comes from soft skills (Harvard Business Review). We ensure teens don’t just "know" but can DO.
