The FLEC Story

Why FLEC Was Created
Empowering Young People to Believe in Themselves, Prepare for Life, and Lead With Confidence.
Future Leaders Empowerment Coaching, Inc. was born from something very personal to me: my love for young people and my desire to see them win in life.
I have always believed that young people have incredible potential. Sometimes they simply need someone to believe in them, listen to them, encourage them, and give them the tools they need to move forward.
That belief became the heart behind FLEC.
As I reflected on the challenges young people face as they prepare for adulthood, I recognized the importance of providing practical life-skills education alongside encouragement and mentorship.
Young people need more than dreams. They need tools they can use in everyday life.
How do you manage your first paycheck? How do you prepare for a job interview? How do you communicate professionally, establish goals, manage responsibilities, and make sound decisions?
These are important life skills that can help young people move toward independence and a brighter future.
I wanted to help create opportunities for young people to learn, practice, ask questions, discover their strengths, and grow in an environment that encourages them to believe in themselves.
That is why FLEC was created.

We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.
Franklin D. Roosevelt
My Passion
My passion for youth is about more than teaching a class or conducting a workshop. It is about connection.
It is about looking at a young person and seeing potential, even when they may not yet recognize it in themselves.
Every young person has a story, gifts, challenges, dreams, and experiences that shape who they are becoming. Sometimes, a word of encouragement, an opportunity to learn, or an adult who genuinely believes in them can make a meaningful difference.I want FLEC to be part of that positive influence.
I want young people to know that they can learn, grow, make mistakes, get back up, and continue moving forward.
Our young people are not just our future. They are our present, and investing in them is an investment in our families and communities.

The S.S.S. Framework
The foundation of FLEC’s personal development philosophy is our S.S.S. Framework: Self-Love, Self-Esteem, and Self-Discipline.
Self-Love — Recognize Your Worth
Young people are encouraged to understand their value, recognize their strengths, practice self-respect, and make choices that support their growth.
Why It Matters
Many teens struggle with comparison, insecurity, and seeking validation from peers or social media. Without true self-acceptance, even the most talented individuals hold themselves back.
Our Approach
✔ Workshops on self-awareness – Helping teens identify their strengths, values, and unique gifts.
✔ Journaling & reflection exercises – Guided prompts to challenge negative self-talk.
✔ Positive affirmation practices – Rewiring thought patterns to cultivate self-compassion.
✔ Group discussions on identity – Exploring what it means to love oneself beyond appearances or achievements.
Science-Backed Insight
Studies show that self-love reduces anxiety and depression in teens (Journal of Youth and Adolescence, 2021). It’s not just “feel-good” advice.it’s a critical skill for mental resilience.
Self-Esteem — Believe in Your Potential
We want young people to develop confidence in their abilities, recognize their accomplishments, communicate their ideas, and approach new opportunities with a willingness to learn.
Why It Matters
Confidence isn’t just “believing in yourself” it’s built through real-world practice. Many teens freeze in interviews, struggle with public speaking, or avoid social challenges because they lack practical confidence-building experiences.
Our Approach
✔ Mock interviews & resume workshops – Preparing teens for real career opportunities.
✔ Public speaking drills – Safe, supportive environments to practice communication.
✔ Role-playing social scenarios – Handling conflicts, networking, and assertive communication.
✔ Progress tracking – Celebrating small wins to reinforce confidence.
Research Note
A Harvard study found that 70% of teens avoid challenges due to fear of failure. Our exercises rewire this fear into courage.
Self-Discipline — Turn Your Goals Into Action
Personal growth requires action. Self-discipline encourages consistency, accountability, responsibility, perseverance, and the development of positive habits.
Why It Matters
Schools teach algebra and history—but rarely how to budget, set goals, or lead a team. These gaps leave teens unprepared for adulthood.
Our Practical Workshop
✔ Financial literacy – Budgeting, saving, and understanding credit.
✔ Goal-setting frameworks – Breaking big dreams into actionable steps.
✔ Leadership & teamwork – Collaborative projects to build initiative.
✔ Accountability systems – Weekly check-ins to stay on track.
Fact
85% of career success comes from soft skills (Harvard Business Review). We ensure teens don’t just “know” but can DO.
We believe these principles can support young people as they build a strong foundation for their personal and professional lives.
Our Vision
Our vision is to help develop a generation of confident, capable, responsible, independent, and purpose-driven young people who are prepared to navigate life’s challenges, pursue opportunities, and make positive contributions to their communities.
We envision a future in which young people have greater access to practical life-skills education, personal development, employment preparation, and supportive relationships that encourage their growth.
Our Mission
FLEC’s mission is to empower teens and young adults with practical life skills, personal development, confidence, and leadership tools that prepare them for success in life, education, employment, and adulthood.
Through educational workshops, practical resources, and community collaboration, we aim to help young people recognize their potential and develop skills they can apply in real-life situations.

Real-World Application
We understand that young people have different experiences, needs, and goals. Our approach emphasizes respect, encouragement, participation, and real-world application.
We want every young person who participates in a FLEC learning experience to leave with something useful: a new skill, a clearer goal, greater confidence, or a practical next step.
