Employment Preparation Coaching
Absolutely. We cover dress code expectations, professional communication, time management, and workplace etiquette.
Yes. We walk participants through how to write effective cover letters and follow-up emails to employers.
Yes. We provide access to laptops and Wi-Fi during all in-person training sessions to ensure everyone can participate fully.
Some sessions may be open to parents/guardians, especially during orientation or closing ceremonies. We also provide updates and resources they can use to support their child’s development.
Our employment preparation includes resume writing, interview practice, job search strategies, workplace etiquette, and skills training (including Microsoft Office tools and professional communication).
Yes. Each participant will receive guidance to create a customized, professional resume ready to use for job applications.
While we don’t directly place participants in jobs, we do provide resources, job board access, and training on how to search and apply effectively.
Our program serves youth and young adults ages 14 to 21.
Yes. We conduct mock interviews with feedback to help participants build confidence and prepare for real job interviews.
Computer Skills Coaching
We cover the core Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Participants learn how to use each program for school, work, and daily productivity.
No experience is necessary. We teach beginners and build up to intermediate skills through step-by-step instruction and hands-on practice.
Participants will know how to create and format documents in Word, build spreadsheets and charts in Excel, design professional presentations in PowerPoint, and manage emails and calendars in Outlook.
Absolutely. Microsoft Office is a required skill in most jobs and many school settings. Participants will gain confidence in using these tools for resumes, assignments, reports, and workplace tasks.
Yes. Each participant who completes the training will receive a certificate of completion, which they can include in their resumes or portfolios.
The sessions are hands-on and highly interactive. Participants will complete real-world tasks and exercises using each Microsoft program.
Yes. Laptops will be provided during the training with Microsoft Office installed, so all participants have equal access regardless of their personal resources.
While we do not offer certification exams as part of this camp, the foundational knowledge and skills taught can prepare participants for future Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification exams.
Yes. Each participant receives a digital toolkit with practice exercises, shortcut guides, and tips to continue building their skills at home.

We cover budgeting, saving, needs vs. wants, how to use a bank account, credit basics, understanding paychecks, and how to make smart money decisions.
Yes. Each participant will build a simple, personalized budget and learn how to track income and expenses.
Yes. We explain how credit scores are built, the impact of credit cards and loans, and how to build healthy credit habits early.
Absolutely. We teach the value of saving early, how to set financial goals, and the importance of emergency savings.
Yes. We use interactive games, simulations, and real-life case studies to make learning about money engaging and relevant.
Yes. We provide worksheets, budgeting templates, and links to free online tools and apps that participants can continue using after the program.
While the training is designed for youth, we encourage parent involvement and offer tips and conversation starters they can use at home.
Yes. We connect financial decision-making to career planning, education choices, and long-term life goals to help participants make informed decisions.
Each youth will complete a basic financial plan and walk away with clear next steps they can take immediately.

Yes! FLEC’s workshops include real-life role plays, group activities, customer scenario simulations, and feedback sessions to build practical experience.
Yes. Upon completion of the Customer Service Skills Workshop, participants receive a Certificate of Completion which can be added to resumes or job applications.
Absolutely. Employers across industries value customer service and communication skills. FLEC’s training improves a participant’s ability to make a positive impression in interviews and in the workplace.
Yes, any teen or young adult aged 14–24 can join. The training is especially beneficial for those preparing for summer jobs, internships, or entry-level positions.
The workshop typically runs 3 - 4 hours and may be offered as a standalone session or part of a multi-week life skills program.
We offer both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate different learning needs and community partnerships.
