Future Leaders Empowerment Coaching recently held an impactful Life Skills Workshop series, focusing on essential skills for teens and young adults. The sessions, held on July 13, 20, 27, and August 3, 2024, were designed to equip participants with the tools they need to succeed in both their personal and professional lives. Here’s a look back at the valuable lessons learned during each session:

Session 1: Budgeting (July 13, 2024)
In our first session, participants dove into the fundamentals of budgeting. They learned how to manage their finances effectively, including setting financial goals, tracking expenses, and saving for the future. By the end of the workshop, everyone had a personalized budget plan to help them navigate their financial journey with confidence.

Session 2: Communication Skills (July 20, 2024)
Communication is key to success in any aspect of life. During this session, we explored the importance of effective communication, both verbal and non-verbal. Participants engaged in interactive activities that improved their ability to express themselves clearly and listen actively. These skills will serve them well in personal relationships, education, and the workplace.

Session 3: Self-Awareness (July 27, 2024)
Understanding oneself is the foundation of personal growth. In our self-awareness session, participants were guided through exercises that helped them identify their strengths, weaknesses, and core values. This deeper understanding of themselves will enable them to make informed decisions and set realistic goals aligned with their true selves.

Session 4: The Importance of Appearance and Preparing for Job Interviews (August 3, 2024)
Our final session focused on the critical role appearance plays in professional settings and the essential steps to prepare for job interviews. Participants learned how to present themselves with confidence, from selecting the right attire to mastering the interview process. This session provided them with the practical skills needed to make a positive impression and secure employment opportunities.
